I to, can relate to your situation. I pray that someone will be able to help you. It is not easy for on to humble themselves enough to ask for help. I know! I have been looking for a site such as this for a month. I am a 58 year old female raising 3 grandchildren who are in middle school. I live on 606 a month SSI and 294 a month TANF. I also recieve food stamps. That is my total income. In spite of my disability I forced myself to work last year knowing I had to take care of 3 kids. Working worsened my condition and I had to have major surgery, ending up in a nursing home for a while. The only reason we have gas and electricity is due to the winter law, but the bill is steadily increasing. The kids chool donated us $100 during the real bad weather. We have no car, phone or T.V. We walk every where we have to go in town, and rely on others to bring my meds from the neighboring town. When I filed my taxes this year the state promptly took them for not reporting I was working for over payment. I can't work due to my disability so now we are left with nothing! No taxes, no work. If anyone can help finacially PLEASE send donations  to Farmers State Bank Bucklin, KS.67834 This shows you how desperate we are to put this info on the web, and I have no way for any one to contact me.
